Carrie B. Hines Endowment Scholarship

Minority graduating high school seniors may apply through the Saginaw Community Foundation for the Carrie B. Hines Endowment Scholarship.

Award amounts vary.

Primary eligibility requires at least two years of participation with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Saginaw County, at least 20 volunteer hours at a Veterans Health Administration hospital or clinic during the last two years of high school, and at least a 2.0 GPA. Alternative qualifying paths include graduating from Bridgeport, Carrollton, Heritage, or Saginaw United high schools with at least a 2.5 GPA, full-time undergraduate study at a Michigan college or the University of Maryland Baltimore campus, and 40 or more VA volunteer hours.
