Carolyn Wones Scholarship

Female graduating high school seniors from Boone or Winnebago County, Illinois, who plan to pursue a degree in secondary teaching and show academic potential and high school activity involvement may apply.

Award amounts vary. Scholarships are paid directly to the recipient's post-secondary institution.

Apply through the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois universal scholarship application, which includes fund-specific prompts matched to eligible students.

The Carolyn Wones Recruitment Grant was established to provide educational resources for women and to promote the professional and personal growth of women educators.
