About this scholarship

High school seniors attending school in Bedford County, Tennessee who plan to pursue a college degree in visual arts, creative writing, music, theatrical arts, or dance may apply through the Bedford County Arts Council.

One scholarship of $1,000 is awarded annually.

Submit a resume of artistic work, a 750-word essay on what the arts have meant to you, one teacher or coach recommendation, portfolio examples, and the online form. Proof of post-secondary enrollment is required before funds are released.
