About this scholarship
Arkansas graduating high school seniors planning to enroll in a minimum two-semester medium or heavy-duty truck technician program at an Arkansas institution may apply through the Arkansas Trucking Association.
The Carl Tapp Technician Scholarship provides up to $7,500, distributed in two payments. The second payment requires proof of continued enrollment and at least a 2.8 GPA.
Complete the student application, submit official high school transcripts covering the most recent three years, and arrange for a high school official to complete the recommendation portion. You must be accepted into a qualifying program before the award is granted.
