About this scholarship
Practicing Catholic high school seniors who are U.S. residents, age 20 or younger, and plan to attend a Newman Guide Recommended college may enter the Newman Guide Scholarship Contest.
One winner receives $5,000 toward tuition at a Newman Guide institution.
Sign up for Recruit Me, watch the required Newman Society video, and submit a brief statement. Several Newman Guide colleges may supplement the award with additional grants over subsequent years if the winner enrolls at their institution.

- Open to high school seniors (graduating in spring) who plan to attend a Newman Guide Recommended college
- Must be a legal resident of the 50 U.S. states or D.C.
- Award is $5,000 (up to $20,000 over four years via participating colleges)
- 2026 cycle deadline was February 17, 2026
- Cannot be immediate family of Cardinal Newman Society employees/volunteers
