About this scholarship

Master's and doctoral students at recognized Canadian universities can apply if they propose research on chronic pain focused on Canadian Armed Forces Veterans and relevant to the Canadian Pain Centre of Excellence vision and mission. Candidates must also show high academic achievement.

Master's awards are valued at $27,000 per year for up to two years. Doctoral awards are valued at $40,000 per year for up to three years. The Capacity Building Initiatives support individual students and aim to grow the number of researchers working on Veterans' chronic pain.
