About this scholarship

Students personally diagnosed with cancer who attend or plan to attend an accredited U.S. college, university, trade school, or certificate program may apply annually from November 1 through January 31. Most awards reach up to $5,000. Recipients may reapply each year they remain in school.

Submit an online application with tax forms, transcripts from the last four semesters, and a physician confirmation of diagnosis. Optional letter of recommendation from a non-family member. Family adjusted gross income must not exceed $150,000.

Cancer for College provides financial support to help cancer survivors pursue higher education.
