Canadian Muslims for Peace and Justice Scholarship in Communication and Media Studies

Continuing undergraduates in the University of Calgary Faculty of Arts majoring in Communication and Media Studies may be considered. Selection is based on academic merit and demonstrated knowledge of Muslim culture and heritage, plus interest in the role media plays in Canadian understanding of that culture and heritage.

One scholarship of up to $4,000 is offered annually. Applicants submit a statement of up to 500 words on that knowledge and interest. The application and statement are reviewed by the Department of Communication, Media and Film.

The scholarship is funded by Canadian Muslims for Peace and Justice.
