Bachelor of Applied Science students studying Mining Engineering at UBC Vancouver who demonstrate interest in a career in mineral processing and extractive metallurgy through co-ops, internships, relevant volunteer work, or other related experience may be considered for the Canadian Mineral Processors Award in Mining Engineering.

Awards totalling $2,050 are available through an endowment established by the Canadian Mineral Processors (CMP), BC/Yukon Branch.

Awards are made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Applied Science.
