About this scholarship
Thompson Rivers University students may receive one of two annual bursaries through the Canadian Institute of Mining South Central BC Branch: one for a student in the Bachelor of Natural Resource Science program and one for a student in Welding, Electrical, or Heavy Duty Mechanic Trade Foundation.
Preference is given to students who discuss their intent to pursue a career in the mining sector or an earth science field applicable to mining, such as reclamation or environmental management. Two bursaries are offered; values vary. Apply through TRU in-course awards.
