Canada Research Training Awards Suite – Research Travel Supplements (CRTAS-RTS)

Active master's or doctoral Tri-Agency award holders at York University may apply for a Canada Research Training Awards Suite Research Travel Supplement (CRTAS-RTS) to offset research travel within or outside Canada for 59 to 184 days. Travel must start on or after the application deadline, during an active award, and within one year of the CRTAS-RTS notice of award.

The supplement is $9,000 and non-renewable. About 250 supplements are available each year across CIHR, NSERC, and SSHRC. York's internal deadline is May 25; complete the CRTAS-RTS form with supervisor and institutional signatures and submit to the Faculty of Graduate Studies by email, then to the Tri-Council agency by the agency deadline.
