About this scholarship
Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons with a first-class average in the last two completed years of study may apply through a Canadian institution for this 12-month master's research scholarship administered by CIHR, NSERC, or SSHRC. Eligible programs must be predominantly research-based and lead to a thesis or equivalent merit-reviewed output.
The award is $27,000 for one year. Applications are submitted to the host institution via the NSERC Research Portal.
