About this scholarship

California students enrolled in occupational or technical certificate programs of at least four months may compete for a Cal Grant C award by filing a FAFSA or CA Dream Act Application and Cal Grant GPA verification by the March 2 deadline. Awards reach up to $3,009 per year based on financial need and institution type.

Eligible students may use funds for tuition, fees, books, tools, and equipment at Cal Grant-eligible schools. No minimum GPA is required for this grant type.

Cal Grant C supports low- to middle-income students pursuing vocational training in California.
