About this scholarship

Honorably discharged U.S. Armed Forces veterans who are full-time sophomores, juniors, or seniors at accredited nonprofit U.S. undergraduate programs with a 3.0 or higher GPA may apply for the Caesar Viglienzone Memorial Scholarship. Marines' Memorial membership is not required.

One $5,000 award is funded by Victor and Karen Linck. Submit a transcript, 250-500 word writing prompt, recommendation letter, and headshot via the online application by March 29 at 11:59 PM PT.

Selection weighs academics, personal achievements, and financial need. The scholarship honors PFC Caesar Viglienzone, USA, killed in Baghdad in 2006.
