About this scholarship
For Canadian citizens or permanent residents enrolled in (or seeking accreditation for) a CEAB-accredited undergraduate engineering program. The Climate Change/Net Zero scholarship recognizes students whose career path, volunteer work, work experience, or community leadership shows interest in helping Canada adapt to climate change or mitigate greenhouse gas emissions toward a long-term net-zero profile. Applicants are judged on academic and leadership achievements, application answers, and intent to pursue a career that contributes to climate adaptation or emissions reduction.
One scholarship of $2,000 is available.
This is an external award (deadline April 15, 2026). Part of the Canadian Academy of Engineering (CAE) Nation Building Scholarships Series, sponsored by CAE Fellows and the CAE Board.
