About this scholarship

Canadian citizens or permanent residents entering second year of a first bachelor of engineering degree at a Canadian university may be nominated. You must have completed first-year engineering in Canada, intend to continue in engineering, hold first-class standing as defined by your institution, and receive an institutional nomination.

Up to two renewable scholarships of $7,500 per year are available through this external program.

Your school nominates eligible candidates; the C.D. Howe Memorial Foundation funds the National Engineering Scholarship Program through Universities Canada.

The endowment memorializes Clarence Decatur Howe, a Canadian engineer and longtime cabinet minister.
