Brown's First Nations Opportunities Bursary

First-year or returning full-time St. Lawrence College students on the Kingston, Brockville, or Cornwall campus who are members of a First Nation community in Ontario may apply for Brown's First Nations Opportunities Bursary. One bursary is available annually; the amount varies.

Applicants must be Ontario residents and Canadian citizens with demonstrated financial need and commitment to academics and school or community involvement. Preference is given to students whose parent or grandparent was impacted by residential schools.

The bursary honors Wawahte author Robert P. Wells and residential school survivors, and pays tribute to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
