About this scholarship
Youth environmental leaders ages 13 to 22 residing in North America, including Mexico, Canada, and U.S. territories, may apply for the Brower Youth Awards from Earth Island Institute. Six awardees each receive a $3,000 cash prize plus leadership programming, including travel to a recognition event.
Applicants must lead or be actively involved in an environmental project or campaign and submit their own online application by the deadline. Semifinalists participate in a video interview and submit a letter of support from someone familiar with their work.
Established in 2000, the Brower Youth Awards recognize outstanding environmental leadership among young people.
