About this scholarship
PhD students and early-career scholars (including postdoctoral fellows, research associates, and assistant professors) affiliated with Bridging Divides at Toronto Metropolitan University, the University of British Columbia, the University of Alberta, or Concordia University may apply for a short-term research visit at a partner university in the network.
Each fellowship lasts one month and carries a $5,000 stipend (in addition to any existing Bridging Divides salary or scholarship). A minimum of 3 and up to 6 fellowships are awarded per university annually, with each university sending an equal number of students to partner campuses.
Applicants submit a two-page outline to their university lead covering visit objectives, planned activities and collaborations, and preferred timing.
