About this scholarship
Iowa high school juniors or seniors who participate in the Iowa Games may apply. Selection weighs Iowa Games participation along with character and citizenship.
One male and one female Iowan each receive a $1,000 Brian Pearson Memorial Scholarship. The award must be used for post-high-school education.
Apply by April 1. The scholarship honors former Iowa State basketball player Brian Pearson and recognizes values including sportsmanship, responsibility, and perseverance.
