About this scholarship
Female U.S. citizens who are Illinois residents and graduating high school seniors accepted full time at an accredited trade school, college, or university may apply for the BPWI-EF Incoming Freshman Scholarship. Applicants need at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA. Award amounts vary.
Submit a cover letter, completed application form, a 200-300 word typed essay on career objectives, an official transcript, and two signed letters of recommendation from professional or educational references (not relatives or friends).
The BPW Illinois Educational Foundation provides this award to help Illinois women overcome financial barriers to postsecondary education.

- Eligibility: graduating senior or earlier accepted as a full-time incoming freshman at an accredited trade school, college, or university for the Fall semester
- Eligibility: minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4-point scale
- Deadline: March 25th (submitted electronically to applications@bpwi-ef.org or postmarked by March 25th)
