About this scholarship
Female graduating seniors from a Bedford County, Virginia, public high school who have been accepted to a four-year college, hold at least a 3.0 GPA, and demonstrate financial need may apply. Daughters of Bedford BPW members are ineligible.
Bedford Professional Women awards one $2,500 Alice Mahone Scholarship.
Submit FAFSA Student Aid Index documentation, request a counselor recommendation and official transcript with SAT or ACT scores mailed to the scholarship chairperson, and apply by April 1. The award honors past Bedford BPW president Alice Mahone.
