Boyd Lyon Sea Turtle Fund Scholarship

Graduate marine biology students whose research focuses on sea turtle conservation, behavior, habitat needs, abundance, distribution, or research diving safety may apply for the Boyd Lyon Sea Turtle Fund scholarship.

The fund provides an annual award supporting field research that advances sea turtle science and coastal ecosystem management. Amounts vary by project.

Applications for the 2027 cycle are expected to open in October. The fund was created in memory of Boyd N. Lyon in association with The Ocean Foundation.
