Bob Stevens Memorial Scholarship

New Jersey high school seniors with at least a 3.0 GPA and at least two years of participation in their school newspaper or yearbook may be nominated. The student's faculty adviser must be a Garden State Scholastic Press Association (GSSPA) member and may nominate one student per school.

GSSPA presents one $2,000 scholarship to a senior who has shown exceptional dedication, skill, responsibility, and versatility in student journalism.

The nominee and adviser prepare a portfolio of the student's best journalistic work for review by a panel of professional journalists. Submit materials by February 6. The award honors Bob Stevens, a founding GSSPA president and longtime adviser to the Highland Fling at Highland Park High School.
