About this scholarship

Undergraduate juniors or higher at accredited U.S. colleges or universities studying meteorology or atmospheric science may apply. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, show genuine interest in statistical meteorology, and not be past recipients of this award.

One $2,500 scholarship from the National Weather Association Foundation may cover tuition, fees, and course-related expenses such as books and supplies.

Submit all application materials, including transcripts and recommendation letters, through SmarterSelect by May 21. Dr. Bob Glahn established the scholarship in 2012 to support students interested in statistics and meteorology careers.
