About this scholarship
High school seniors or college students who attend Crystal Lake Community School District 155, Marian Central Catholic High School, or McHenry County College and are majoring in education may apply. Strong leadership characteristics are required.
The Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce Foundation awards a $1,000 scholarship. Selection considers thoroughness of responses, verified information, presentation of materials, and financial need.
Applicants submit essay questions, a resume, three recommendation letters, a transcript, a college acceptance letter, and a signed authorization. The scholarship honors Bob Blazier, a longtime Crystal Lake Chamber and community leader.
