About this scholarship
Incoming freshman U.S. residents with at least an unweighted 3.75 GPA who plan to pursue an engineering or related science degree through an ABET-accredited program may apply for the BMW/SAE Engineering Scholarship through SAE International.
Awards are up to $10,000, and the number of recipients varies annually. Applicants should show interest in mobility and emerging technologies such as automated systems, connectivity, cybersecurity, electrification, or quantum computing.
Provide two letters of recommendation, one focused on academics and one on extracurricular or employment involvement, and document participation in a STEM-related club, activity, or job related to your intended major.
