Blakes Scholar Award in Law

For a J.D. student entering second year at UBC's Peter A. Allard School of Law who demonstrated academic excellence in first year by achieving a grade in the top 10% of the class. Preference goes to a student who demonstrates involvement in community service and extracurricular activities, and to individuals from groups that are underrepresented in the legal profession.

A $5,000 renewable award from Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP. The award is renewable if the student maintains academic standing in the top 20% of the class during second year.
