About this scholarship

Students age 18 or older enrolled at a United Way of King County Benefits Hub partner college (at least 6 credits, or 1-5 credits while degree- or credential-seeking) with at least one quarter remaining may apply. No GPA minimum. Selection prioritizes demonstrated financial and personal need.

Twenty scholarships of $5,000 each are awarded annually. Recipients may receive the award up to two times. Funds support basic needs such as housing, food, transportation, and childcare rather than tuition.

Complete the application during the open window (typically mid-May through June 30).
