About this scholarship
Knights of Columbus members in good standing, or their wife, son, or daughter (including widows and children of deceased members in good standing), pursuing full-time graduate study leading to a master's degree that prepares classroom teachers of people with intellectual disabilities may apply. Special consideration is given to applicants attending a Catholic graduate school.
The fellowship provides up to $500 per semester for up to four semesters, paid directly to the university, and is renewable with satisfactory performance.
Submit the application, undergraduate transcript, autobiographical statement documenting experience with people with intellectual disabilities, and two professional recommendations to the Knights of Columbus Department of Scholarships. Proof of full-time acceptance in an approved program is required before payment.
