Bill Pallett Memorial Award

Second-, third-, or fourth-year Hospitality and Tourism Management students at Toronto Metropolitan University with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 who value and champion diversity and inclusion may apply for this $1,116.98 award.

Applicants must include a written statement (500 words max) on why diversity, inclusion, and community involvement matter for hospitality's future and how they have shown that commitment.

Created by Charlie Nucifora and Bill Pallett's family and friends. Pallett was a TMU alumnus and longtime hospitality HR leader (including senior vice president of people resources at Delta Hotels) who also volunteered with organizations such as the Canadian Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.
