Beyond the Boroughs National Scholarship

Beyond the Boroughs is a national scholarship organization that awards last-dollar college scholarships of up to $5,000 per year, for a total of up to $20,000 across four years, to high-achieving students with financial need. Scholars also receive mentoring and support throughout their college years.

The scholarship is open to high school seniors and current college students nationwide who have unmet financial need, a GPA of 2.5 or higher, acceptance to an accredited four-year college or university (or equivalent), and involvement in an extracurricular activity or work. Selection is based on academic achievement, financial need, and dedication to community service. Applications are accepted between January 1 and the March 15 deadline each year.
