About this scholarship
Women who are permanent residents of Cumberland, Dauphin, Perry, or the Northern York School District in Pennsylvania and attend an accredited Pennsylvania college or university in pursuit of a bachelor's degree may apply. Applicants need at least 60 completed credits, a minimum 3.4 cumulative GPA, full-time enrollment, and demonstrated financial need.
One $2,500 award is offered. Submit a complete application packet by mail or email with a postmark or receipt date of July 31. Finalists may be invited to interview.
The scholarship honors Beverly J. Smith, a past president of the Harrisburg Branch AAUW known for her work in refugee resettlement and immigration.
