About this scholarship
Graduating high school seniors from Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler, Beaver, Fayette, Washington, or Westmoreland counties in western Pennsylvania who plan to study an environmentally related field at a two- or four-year college may apply for the Beulah Frey Environmental Scholarship from the Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania.
One $2,500 award is offered annually. Applications are available beginning in January from the ASWP website or through your school's guidance office.
Submit a resume, a personal statement up to 500 words, an essay of 500 to 1,000 words on a critical environmental issue and your career goals, official transcripts, and a letter of recommendation from someone involved in your environmental activities or coursework.

- Submitted by mail, postmarked by the deadline (April 25)
