Berkeley Law Opportunity Scholarship

First-generation college graduates admitted to the Berkeley Law JD program may receive the Berkeley Law Opportunity Scholarship. The award covers full tuition and fees for three years (six semesters); non-residents may apply for California residency in the 2L and 3L years. Apply through the complete JD admissions application and submit a 1 to 2 page BLOS essay. Selection weighs distance traveled, potential contribution to the community, and financial or mentoring need.
