About this scholarship
Third- or fourth-year students at Toronto Metropolitan University who completed HTH100 or HTF110, have current or past experience in food retail or foodservice, and show academic achievement with interest in a food service career may apply. Applicants submit a 200-word essay on why they want to pursue a career in food retail or food-service, including grocery home meal replacement, institutional food service, or quick service restaurants.
The award is $2,500. Glenn Brown, President and CEO of Bento Sushi and a Ted Rogers School of Hospitality and Tourism Management alumnus ('88), established the award.
