About this scholarship

First Nations (Status or Non-Status), Métis, or Inuit students who are British Columbia residents (primary residence in B.C. for at least 12 consecutive months before full-time enrollment), and who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents, convention refugees, or protected persons, may apply for BC Scholarship Society Indigenous Student Awards. Study must be full-time at a B.C. public post-secondary or recognized Indigenous institution, including Douglas College.

Awards range from $1,000 to $5,000 per year and are renewable. Apply through the Society's application portal when the competition is open.
