About this scholarship

High school seniors and homeschooled students in the Better Business Bureau Serving Western Virginia 32-county service area with at least a 3.0 GPA may apply for the Student of Integrity Scholarship.

Recipients receive $1,500 toward college tuition or post-secondary education expenses.

Submit the online application, official transcript, one recommendation letter, and essays on leadership, extracurricular activities, and an ethical dilemma. Recipients must enroll in an accredited university, college, or trade school and attend the Student of Integrity Awards Ceremony.

  • The ethics essay must be at least 500 words, 12-point font, single-spaced, black ink, and the applicant's own work; properly documented quotations are allowed. Do not give a definition of ethics.
  • Recipients must attend the Student of Integrity Awards Ceremony.
