About this scholarship
High school seniors who are residents of or study with a teacher in New York, Delaware, Pennsylvania, or New Jersey and plan to major in classical piano or organ at an accredited music school may audition for the Bart Pitman Memorial Music Scholarship.
The winner receives $6,000 and the runner-up $3,000.
Perform three contrasting classical works before a jury via live or online audition, and provide proof of acceptance to a degree-granting music school. The winner performs at the Delaware Valley Music Club Young Performers Concert.
