About this scholarship
U.S. citizens attending U.S. schools who are high school seniors entering or undergraduates enrolled in physics teacher preparation programs may apply to the AAPT Barbara Lotze Scholarship by December 1.
Up to five awards offer a stipend of up to $3,000 per year, renewable for up to four years, plus a one-year complimentary AAPT student membership. Applicants must declare intent to pursue high school physics teaching and submit proof of enrollment or acceptance.
The scholarship is supported by an endowment funded by Barbara Lotze.
