Barbara Allan Scholarship in Medicine

Resident physicians undertaking studies or research in neurology at UBC Vancouver are eligible, with preference for research related to the understanding and treatment of pain under the mentorship of a neurologist with special expertise in pain.

Scholarships totalling $23,400 are awarded; individual amounts vary.

There is no separate student application. Recipients are chosen on the recommendation of the Faculty of Medicine in consultation with the Division of Neurology.

The scholarships were endowed through a bequest from Enid Mae Dearing.
