About this scholarship
South Asian high school seniors in New York City with a 3.5 or higher GPA and annual household income below $100,000 who plan full-time enrollment at a four-year U.S. university may apply for the Banyan College Scholarship by March 1.
Up to five $5,000 annual grants are offered, renewable for four years with good academic standing. Finalists are interviewed in April. Applicants submit two recommendation letters, a transcript, FAFSA, and Student Aid Report.
The SRS Family Foundation awards the scholarship to students who demonstrate academic strength and commitment to their communities.
