About this scholarship
Black, Indigenous, and other students of color who are graduating seniors from a Philadelphia County high school and will enter their first year of an accredited U.S. architecture, engineering, or interior design program may apply for the Ballinger Scholarship for Equity.
Up to two $2,500 awards are offered. Applicants must be U.S. permanent residents and submit a cover letter of at least 300 words, resume, portfolio link, and professor contact. Recipients also receive a mentorship and job shadowing session with Ballinger employees.
Ballinger is a Philadelphia-based interdisciplinary design firm committed to equity and inclusion in the design professions.
