About this scholarship
High school seniors accepted to a U.S. college or university with at least a 3.5 GPA and demonstrated financial need may apply for the Balkhi Foundation Higher Education Scholarship by April 6.
Ten $1,000 scholarships are awarded each year. Applicants should show leadership, personal initiative, or community service through the online application, transcript, essay on goals and financial need, recommendations, and proof of college acceptance.
Teacher recommendations are required by a follow-up deadline after the student application closes.
