About this scholarship

Saginaw County residents who are high school seniors or current undergraduates with a 3.0 GPA pursuing a full-time degree in environmental sciences may apply through the Saginaw Community Foundation's unified scholarship application.

Award amounts vary. Selection weighs academic record, environmental volunteer or work experience, and an essay on environmental commitment; financial need is a tie-breaker only.

The scholarship was established in 1998 in memory of Eddie, Randy, Brad, and Rick Balcueva.
