Graduate students enrolled in or graduating from accredited programs, with strong scholarship in natural or cultural resource research and interest in national or state park careers, may apply.
One Bailey Research Fellowship is awarded annually for three to four months of research in Rocky Mountain National Park. Benefits include a $12,000 living stipend, park housing, up to $1,000 for supplies, and up to $1,000 for conference travel. Fellows give public and park presentations and produce a scholarly work from the research. Applications are typically due February 16.
Funded by the Leslie Fidel Bailey Charitable Trust through the Rocky Mountain Conservancy, the fellowship links graduate research to park management and public education.
