About this scholarship
California residents diagnosed with cancer who are high school seniors entering college or current college or university students may apply for Bags of Love Foundation scholarships. Applicants must demonstrate financial need.
Award amounts vary based on available funds, typically ranging from $1,000 to $2,500.
Submit the online application with a personal essay on how cancer has affected you and your community impact, an official or unofficial transcript, one letter of recommendation, proof of enrollment, and a physician's diagnosis letter. Applications are accepted January 1 through April 30.
