About this scholarship
Academically strong low-income students aged 11 to 21 who reside in Texas or the United Kingdom and have led a community service project may apply for BAFTX's Susan Howard Community Service Award by March 31 at 12 p.m.
One $5,000 award is applied directly to the recipient's institution for tuition. Applicants must be enrolled full time in the Texas or UK education system and able to attend an awards dinner in Houston.
The award honors Susan Howard, founder of the British American Foundation of Texas, and recognizes young adults who initiated or organized community service projects.
