About this scholarship

Texas high school juniors from low-income families who excel academically in STEM may apply for the BAFTX International STEM Award. Applicants must be Texas or UK residents in full-time education, demonstrate financial need, maintain a strong GPA, and attend the Houston awards dinner in April.

The award covers costs for a summer study program in the UK; amounts vary. Applications close January 31 at 12 p.m.
