About this scholarship
Undergraduate civil engineering students enrolled in an ABET-accredited or equivalent program who are ASCE members in good standing and interested in structural engineering may apply for the B. Charles Tiney Memorial ASCE Student Chapter Scholarship by January 15.
One award is offered annually for undergraduate tuition and fees; the amount is set each year by the ASCE Board of Direction. Recipients are notified in the spring.
The scholarship was established in 1980 through a bequest from Mrs. Hazel M. Tiney in memory of B. Charles Tiney, M.ASCE.
